The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre
The Beatson Cancer Centre is approx. 5.5 miles from Milngavie. Simple travel options include by car (a 15-20min drive) or by train. Hyndland train station is just 5min walk from the Beatson hospital, and the Milngavie train to Hyndland station takes just 15 minutes. An approx. 20 minute total journey by train.
Gartnavel General Hospital
Gartnavel General Hospital is approx. 5.5 miles from our apartments in Milngavie, and sits next door to the Beatson Cancer Centre. Travel options are there for very similar to the details above, with options of a 15-20 min drive, or a an approx. 20 minute journey by train.
Golden Jubilee Hospital
The Golden Jubilee Hospital is approx. 7 miles from our temporary rental apartments. There are various travel options using public transport, though most do require a change of train or bus as part of the route. Public transport can take approx. 45mins.
However, being just 7 miles away means that the Golden Jubilee is only 20 minute drive away.
Queen Elizabeth University Hospital
The QEUH is approx. 7 miles from Milngavie. As with other hospitals, there are a couple of easy transport options available to you.
Public transport will require a change as part of the journey (train then underground, or train then bus), but journey times can be as little as 40 mins from Milngavie. Driving is also an option, with a fairly straightforward drive taking approx. 25mins.
